Two medical center contracts awarded Los Angeles - One of the nation's leading healthcare builders was recently awarded two contracts at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Newport Beach-based McCarthy will serve as general contractor for the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center and Department and will provide preconstruction services for the North Care Tower. The contracts, valued at $34 million and $69 million, respectively, are the firm's first with the medical center.
