Lawyer's Disclosure Didn't Violate Client
SAN FRANCISCO - An Oregon lawyer, torn between his ethical duty to keep a client's confidentiality and an attempt to save the lives of two children, did not violate his client's rights by providing an anonymous tip to police as to the children's whereabouts, a divided federal appeals court ruled Wednesday.
