Time limits, jury sensitivity discussed to shorten trials

Self-imposed time limits were among the suggestions made to speed up jury trials.

LOS ANGELES — Impose time limits, confer with opposing counsel about exhibits or jury questionnaires, and avoid repetition. These were among the suggestions judges, plaintiffs' and defense attorneys made during a symposium on speeding up jury trials in California.
