Riverside, San Bernardino counties recruiting temporary judges

Chronically underjudged Riverside and San Bernardino County courts hope to add to their list of temporary judges as they wait to see vacant positions filled.

Eight of Riverside County Superior Court's judges will retire in the next 15 months, and as it continues to struggle with vacant positions and a lack of resources, the court is working to expand its list of attorneys who volunteer as temporary judges.
