State Bar plans to stay focused on reform in next year

New Bar President James Fox says the agency is taking 'very seriously' calls for improvements.

SAN DIEGO — Lawmakers and the state Supreme Court have prodded the State Bar to reform itself, and bar leaders said at their annual meeting last weekend that they have gotten the message.

"We are taking reform very seriously," said James Fox, who was sworn in as the bar's president in San Diego on Saturday.
