State Bar board nixes annual meeting planned at Disneyland

The divided panel wants staff to come up with alternative options for its 2017 gathering.

SAN DIEGO — In the midst of less-than-cheery times for the State Bar, the agency's board voted Sunday to cancel the hotel contract to hold next year's annual meeting at "The Happiest Place on Earth."
