Judge approves coordination of 22 endoscope cases

A number of cases alleging that a defectively designed endosccope caused hundreds of infections and dozens of deaths have become coordinated in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

LOS ANGELES — Twenty-two lawsuits aimed at a medical manufacturer who allegedly produced a defective brand of endoscopes have been coordinated following approval Monday by a superior court judge.
