State judges group picks new leadership, talk pop culture

A felony law and motion calendar judge from rural Tehama County is the new top officer of the California Judges Association.

SAN DIEGO ? A felony law and motion calendar judge from rural Tehama County is the new top officer of the state's judicial organizing and lobbying body.

C. Todd Bottke was sworn in Saturday as president of the California Judges Association, replacing Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Eric C. Taylor, as part of CJA's annual convention.
