Longtime city manager appointed to State Bar Board of Trustees

A seat on the State Bar Board of Trustees is to be filled by a longtime city manager.

Daily Journal Staff Writer

Longtime city manager Richard J. Ramirez has been appointed to fill Gwen Moore's expired third term on the State Bar Board of Trustees, it was announced Thursday.

Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon appointed Ramirez to the non-attorney position, which for seven years was occupied by Moore.

The 19-member board has six non-attorney members.
