Ex-Wells Fargo employees sue over not participating in alleged fraud

The latest suit against Wells Fargo & Co. claims employees who didn't break the law and open up unauthorized customer accounts were fired or demoted.

Wells Fargo & Co. employees who claimed they were fired or demoted because they didn't engage in an alleged fraudulent scheme to open unauthorized customer accounts have filed a class action seeking $2.6 billion in punitive damages, according to the lawsuit filed in state court.
