Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP lost six of its 31 partners in Los Angeles Thursday to Indiana-based Barnes & Thornburg LLP, which is opening its first California office today.

LOS ANGELES - Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP lost six of its 31 partners in Los Angeles Thursday to Indiana-based Barnes & Thornburg LLP, which is opening its first California office today.
Among the departing Akin Gump group is David Allen, the office managing partner in Los Angeles.
