Chief Public Defender's Attorney Named

San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi appointed Matt Gonzalez to chief attorney.

A prominent left-wing politician and candidate for U.S. vice president on Tuesday became the second-highest ranking public defender in San Francisco.
