Battle Over State Building Sale Continues

Attorneys for the two former state building commissioners who sued to stop the sale have asked the 6th District Court of Appeal to consider their case despite news that the sale will not go through.

Gov. Jerry Brown's decision to cancel his predecessor's controversial plan to sell off two dozen state-owned buildings has not ended the court battle over the deal, which has been pending in San Francisco County Superior Court since November.
