Patton Boggs Sues Gibson Dunn in Chevron Case

Patton Boggs LLP and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher have taken aim at each other in litigation related to an environmental case against Chevron Corp. in Ecuador.

SAN FRANCISCO - Patton Boggs LLP, named by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Chevron Corp. as a co-conspirator last week in an alleged extortion scheme, fired back with a lawsuit on Monday, claiming Gibson Dunn and Chevron are trying to bully it into dropping Ecuadorean plaintiffs suing the oil company for alleged environmental damage.
