Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye said Wednesday that she'd like to see the governor choose a Latino from Southern California to replace state Supreme Court Justice Carlos R. Moreno.
Moreno, who is stepping down at the end of the month, is the only Latino justice, as well as the only one who has maintained a residence in Los Angeles.
