Report Could Spark Implant Litigation

Manufacturers spent billions of dollars on breast implant litigation in the 1990s and may face new lawsuits after a recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration report about a possible link between the implants and a rare form of cancer.

Once again, millions of women face dire warnings about breast implants after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration revealed a possible link to a rare form of cancer.


The news is troubling for the two California companies that make the implants.
