Oracle Settles Claims Against Sun

Redwood Shores-based Oracle Corp. has agreed to pay $46 million to the U.S. government to resolve claims Sun Microystems Inc., which it acquired last year, submitted false claims to the government and paid kickbacks to companies in return false claims to the government and paid kickbacks to companies in return for recommendations to buy Sun products.
