Service Employees International Union joined the fray over the state's plan to sell 11 office and court complexes to private investors.


On Thursday, a 6th District Court of Appeal panel agreed to let the union submit an amicus brief and new evidence supporting the plaintiffs in a case seeking to block the controversial $2.3 billion deal spearheaded by former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
