Palo Alto - April 24 marked the opening of the Westin Palo Alto, the first new luxury hotel in Palo Alto since the mid-'80s. The $42 million facility on El Camino Real has 184 guest rooms, 3,300 square feet of meeting space and a restaurant. The developer is Palo Alto Development Venture and manager is Pacific Hotel Management LLC.
