Family Sues Caltrans for Freeway Death

SANTA ANA - Death came as a surprise to 35-year-old Tam Trong Tran in July as he drove home from work along the 91 Freeway in Anaheim. A 15-foot-high fiberglass tank, weighing several tons, rolled off a tractor-trailer onto the freeway after it clipped a 14-foot, 9-inch overpass, then crashed into Tran's sports car.
