The U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Alameda County Superior Court Judge Jon S. Tigar as the newest federal judge in the Northern District of California on Friday.

The U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Alameda County Superior Court Judge Jon S. Tigar as the newest federal judge in the Northern District of California on Friday. His confirmation followed an agreement between Senate Democrats and Republicans to allow his nomination to be considered.
