Weil Gotshal advises Oracle in its latest cloud company purchase

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP represented Oracle Corp. in purchasing cloud marketing management company Eloqua Inc. for $871 million. It also counseled Adobe Systems on a website buy.

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP represented Oracle Corp. in its agreement to purchase Washington, D.C.-based Eloqua Inc. for $871 million, the firm announced Thursday. Eloqua provides automated marketing and management software through an Internet "cloud."
