Google sells Motorola Home to Arris Group

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP represented Mountain View-based Google Inc. in the sale of its Motorola Home business to Suwanee, Ga.-based Arris Group Inc. for $2.35 billion.

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP represented Mountain View-based Google Inc. in the sale of its Motorola Home business to Suwanee, Ga.-based Arris Group Inc. for $2.35 billion. Arris is a telecommunications equipment manufacturer.

Troutman Sanders LLP provided counsel to Arris Group. Barclays plc is advising Google on financial matters while Evercore Partners Inc. is advising Arris.
