A Los Angeles judge under fire from a developer after she ruled against it in a high-stakes environmental case has recently been reassigned.


Superior Court Judge Ann I. Jones will no longer hear cases related to a fight between environmentalists and Newhall Land and Farming Co. over a massive proposed development in the Santa Clarita Valley, according to court spokeswoman Mary Hearn.
