Governor appoints 7 to trial, appellate seats

Gov. Jerry Brown announced seven new judicial appointments Thursday, just a week after announcing 12 appointments before the Thanksgiving weekend. The picks include one new appeals court appointment, Adrienne M. Grover, who is slated to become an associate justice at the 6th District Court of Appeal.
