Brown chooses two new appeals court justices, 10 Superior Court judges

Gov. Jerry Brown nominated two men for seats on California Court of Appeal on Wednesday, including one of his close advisers, and also tapped ten others to judgeships around the state.

Gov. Jerry Brown nominated two men for seats on the California Courts of Appeal on Wednesday, including one of his close advisers, and also tapped 10 others to judgeships around the state.


James M. Humes, Brown's executive secretary for legal affairs, administration and policy, has been nominated for the 1st District Court of Appeal.
