A lawyer accused of cheating underwater homeowners got a double dose of bad news Friday.
The State Bar Court ordered Chance Edward Gordon of Los Angeles put on involuntary inactive status, and a federal judge imposed a preliminary injunction sought by the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau against Gordon and his mortgage relief business.
