Former Google in-house counsel to lead patent office's Silicon Valley satellite office

Michelle Lee, the former head of patent strategy at Google Inc. who stepped down earlier this year, will head the new satellite of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the San Jose area.

SANTA CLARA - Michelle Lee, the former head of patent strategy at Google Inc. who stepped down earlier this year, will head the new satellite of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the San Jose area.


The announcement came Friday afternoon during a software conference at Santa Clara University.
