Former Dewey lawyer submits request for $13 million for Dodgers work

Defunct law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP is seeking compensation exceeding $13 million for its work on the Los Angeles Dodgers LLC Chapter 11 restructuring.

The Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP estate is seeking compensation exceeding $13 million for its lawyers' work on the Los Angeles Dodgers LLC Chapter 11 restructuring.

The successful collection of legal fees would bolster the estate as it attempts to pay off creditors. Dewey filed for bankruptcy protection in New York in May.
