State Plans to Arrest Former Black Panthers

SAN FRANCISCO - After three years of secret grand-jury investigations, the California Department of Justice plans soon to arrest nine former members of the Black Panther Party in connection with a 1971 attack on a San Francisco police station that killed an officer, according to court documents and defense attorneys.
