Accused Murderer Cleared Seven Months After Prison Death

Until the day he died in prison last year at 48, Mark Collin Sodersten maintained his innocence in the 1984 murder of a Tulare County woman. On Wednesday, Sodersten was vindicated when the 5th District Court of Appeal took the unusual step of throwing out his conviction despite his death.
