Physicians Unhealed

In the end, the doctors wound up hurting themselves. In what could be the first case of its kind to go to trial, a jury on March 8 found three physicians liable for $8.3 million after they allegedly submitted false medical billing statements in an attempt to defraud Allstate Insurance Co.
