Singer Paid Big Bucks to Take Heat for Hollywood Stars

To borrow a hoary sports clich, Martin Singer of Lavely & Singer had a bad month on one day, April 26. That morning, New Times L.A. released its long-in-the-works cover story about the scuzzy dealings that Singer had to endure pursuant to client Eddie Murphy getting stopped with a transvestite hooker in his car in 1997.
