Justices Settle Arbitration Battle Between Tribe and Nontribal Firm
WASHINGTON - Settling a major area of dispute between Native American tribes and non-Native American businesses, the Supreme Court on Monday ruled that when tribes offer companies standard contracts containing arbitration clauses, they must submit to court-ordered enforcement of those clauses.
