INS Plans New Shelter for Minors
LOS ANGELES - After years of complaints by immigrant advocates, Los Angeles soon will be getting a shelter to house undocumented minors. The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service will begin accepting bids next month and expects to award a contract by mid- to late-June, INS juvenile coordinator Tim Heck said.
