Black Inmates Sue County for Attacks in Jail

LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies did nothing to prevent planned attacks by Latino inmates on African-American inmates last year, resulting in an assault that left an African-American inmate brain-damaged and two others injured, according to a lawsuit filed by attorney Christopher Darden.
