New Dean Plans to Increase Faculty at USC Law School
New USC Law Dean Robert Rasmussen, who wrote one of the most widely cited papers in bankruptcy law, was also a celebrated professor at Vanderbilt University. As associate dean and chair of faculty appointments at Vanderbilt Law School, Rasmussen built a reputation as an enthusiastic recruiter and mentor of young faculty. He is the first dean selected from outside the law school in 80 years.
