Thousands Expected as ABA Meeting Kicks Off
By the time the ABA conference wraps up Tuesday in San Francisco, attendees will have sat in on 1,600 programs, continuing-education courses and events featuring a host of speakers, including U.S. Supreme Court Justices Stephen G. Breyer and Anthony M. Kennedy. Topics range from issues such as homeland security and new laws affecting same-sex couples, to the offbeat, such as a program addressing the potential legal implications in a future with humanoid robots.
