Ruling Finds Riverside Judge Not Guilty of Bias Toward DA
Riverside County's district attorney was wrong to accuse a judge of bias against him and should not have barred the judge from presiding over a murder trial, a jurist working on behalf of the state Judicial Council ruled Monday.

RIVERSIDE - A judge working on behalf of the state Judicial Council has decided that Riverside Judge Gary B. Tranbarger has not shown a pattern of bias toward District Attorney Rod Pacheco or his office, paving the way for Tranbarger to preside over a high-profile capital murder trial.
