      Shortly after I wrote an article last year about the plight of Iraqi Armenian refugees, I got an unsolicited e-mail from Iraq. "Being an Iraqi Armenian, I'd like to ask you get an asylum in the United States or any other way get us out of this violence," the e-mail pleaded. "My name is Sarmeen at 36 and I am married to Linda at 27 and we have 2 boys 4 and 5 years living in Basrah, Iraq."
