Alameda County Superior Court officials have announced that Judge Yolanda Northridge, who currently oversees the family courts, will succeed Judge George Hernandez as the county's presiding judge.
"She has demonstrated the interest and skills necessary to guide the courts," said Hernandez, who added that he will probably seek a post in Alameda County's civil courts....
