Family Can't Sue Over Corpse's Decay

Eugene Perryman's family was devastated when the 66-year-old retiree became the innocent victim of a drive-by shooting outside his Los Angeles home. But the grief was compounded, relatives said, when they picked up his body a week later from the Los Angeles County coroner's office and found it had decomposed beyond recognition.
