Stutman, Treister & Glatt PC, a 29-lawyer Los Angeles bankruptcy firm, opened an office in New York to further build its client base.

Los Angeles-based Stutman, Treister & Glatt PC has represented a string of high-profile debtors and creditors, including Lehman Brothers, Enron Corp. and Mariner Health Group Inc.
But with many of the nation's biggest bankruptcy cases happening on the East Coast, the 31-lawyer boutique, which focuses on the niche, decided this month to open a second office - in New York.
