State Supreme Court won't go to LA next June

The state Supreme Court has cancelled plans to hold its June 2013 oral arguments in Los Angeles in an effort to save money, the court announced Tuesday.

The state Supreme Court has cancelled plans to hold its June 2013 oral arguments in Los Angeles in an effort to save money, the court announced Tuesday.

"Ongoing judicial branch budget cuts have affected all courts, including the Supreme Court, and we, like the entire branch, are required to make difficult decisions to operate within our budget," Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye said in a statement.
