Women triumph at CAALA awards
Santa Monica attorney Christine D. Spagnoli has become the first woman to win the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles' coveted Trial Lawyer of the Year award. She's one of four women to pick up a CAALA award last week.

Santa Monica attorney Christine D. Spagnoli has become the first woman to win the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles' coveted Trial Lawyer of the Year award.
Spagnoli, who won $73 million last year in a lawsuit against Ford Motor Co., was one of four female awardees selected Thursday night by a vote of the association's board members.
