Age discrimination claims allowed by Alameda judge

Former employees of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory won the right late last week to bring age discrimination complaints before a jury.

Former employees of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory won the right late last week to bring age discrimination allegations before a jury.

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert B. Freedman denied the lab's motion for summary judgment on those claims in an order Friday. The judge has already approved a trial on plantiffs' other wrongful termination claims, which is expected to start in December or January.
