A group of former partners from the defunct firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP on Thursday appealed the $71.5 million bankruptcy settlement struck between the Dewey estate and more than 440 former firm lawyers. The settlement plan was crafted by the Dewey estate to pay off creditors and avoid lengthy litigation with former partners.
