Attorneys Donate $1 Million to LA Master Chorale
David Gindler, a litigation partner at Irell & Manella LLP and the newly minted chair of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and his wife, Kiki, have donated $1 million to the chorale, one of the largest gifts in the organization's 49-year history. Kiki, a writer and supporter of the arts, was a transactional lawyer with Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP and has held legal and executive positions at Columbia Pictures and Rysher Entertainment. The couple said they aim to encourage donors to support the organization, in which they've been involved since 2005. Their gift establishes the chorale's "Music Director's Circle" for donors of $50,000 or more. -Jean Yung
