While national job numbers improve, legal sector stays flat

The nation's unemployment rate dropped to its lowest point in more than three years, but legal sector employment numbers have shown only very modest post-recession gains.

While the nation's nonfarm unemployment rate in September dropped to its lowest point in more than three years - 7.8 percent - employment in the legal sector has shown only modest gains in the same time period.
