Google Inc. still has many hurdles to overcome in starting its digital library even after announcing a settlement Thursday with the Association of American Publishers.


The deal is not as sweeping as the Mountain View-based company's agreement with the publishers' group and the Authors Guild, which was rejected last year by a New York federal judge.
